Full Service Interior Design
This is a true collaboration. We make certain we understand your vision and how each space in your home needs to function to support your lifestyle. The design plan begins based on this discovery and then you will be presented the whole plan to bring your vision to life. Once all is in motion, KMI will oversee and manage the deliveries, installations, logistics and more. We take care of all the details so you don’t have to! This service is ideal for a client who has recently purchased a new home or is looking for a full refresh.
In-Home Consultation
Rate: $500 Up to 2 hours
This one-on-one time is dedicated to walking through your home and discussing what your desires and vision are and then we craft a plan to bring it to life. This time is your time and you can use it for anything you want, choosing paint colors, discussing new options for window treatments, furniture placement, what items to keep, what to move on. We can also look at your inspirations online to gain a real sense of your unique style. Prior to the in-person consultation you’ll share photos of the space and we’ll have an initial discovery call so that we can be fully prepared to jump right in on the day of your consultation and make the most of our time together. After the consultation, you will be left with a detailed road map to follow at your own pace. This service is perfect for the client who is a bit more of a do-it-yourselfer or someone who wants to take a phased approach to designing their home.
One Room Refresh
Maybe you don’t need a full house design but there’s one room you want to focus on, KMI’s one room refresh is your perfect solution. The same level of detail and collaboration goes into one room as it does a whole house, the service is completely customizable to fit your vision and needs. We start with a discovery call and a walk through the space. We consult on your needs, vision, budget, and timeframe. Then we craft a plan and run with it we will share choices for fabrics and finishes while we create your new space. This service is ideal for clients who have a vision and want to create a special space.
New Construction
KMI specializes in helping clients at the outset of a new home build or renovation. We collaborate together in the construction phase to develop the design plan for the home and then KMI works on your behalf for the selection and design of all items of the home including: kitchen and bath fixtures, cabinetry and appliances, stone, tile and flooring, hardware, lighting, etc. KMI can provide on-site, full-service project management working with your architects, contractors, lighting designers, kitchen designers and other trades ensuring your vision and voice are represented throughout the construction.
Once the building phase is complete KMI can head up the interior design and decoration. Using our design plan KMI will lead the selection and installation of all interior finishes, furniture, fabrics, window and wall treatments, decorative lighting, floor coverings, linens and more. KMI will ensure that when you turn the key on your new or renovated home it feels just as you envisioned, it feels like yours.

CERTIFIED AGING-IN-PLACE SPECIALIST
At KMI we specialize in creating homes that nurture you and foster a well lived life. To that end, Kim has completed the National Association of Home Builders CAPS (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist) certification and is available and trained to work with clients on their specific needs to make their home nurturing, comforting, safe and work for them at every stage of life. Aging-in-Place is really universal design and it focuses on imparting a relevant, functional, ease of living design into your current home so that it can remain the sanctuary of comfort, beauty, and safety it always has been.
